Capital Markets Experience
I joined Wedge Partners in 2008 as a Senior Equity Analyst and Head of Marketing. At Wedge Partners I conducted fundamental analysis on a range of small-cap, mid-cap and large cap Software, Software as a Service, Internet and Online Video companies. In my equity analysis, I leverage my nearly 15 years of operational experience to assess the target company's management, go-to-market strategy, operational execution and financial performance.
As of January 2012, the companies I currently have under coverage are SAP (SAP), Oracle (ORCL), Salesforce.com (CRM), Taleo (TLEO), LinkedIn (LNKD), SuccessFactors (SFSF), Cornerstone On Demand (CSOD), Citrix Systems (CTXS), VMware (VMW), Akamai (AKAM), Ancestry.com (ACOM),and Jive (JIVE). I have previously covered Novell (NOVL), Symantec (SYMC), Netflix (NFLX) and Coinstar (CSTR).
Currently I am a CFA Level 1 candidate (12/03/2011 Test Results Expected 01/24/2012) and hold the following FINRA Registrations: Series 7, 24, 63, 79, 86, 87
Operational Experience in Marketing and Technology Product Development
While at Wedge Partners, I continued to exercise the marketing expertise that I have developed over many years. At Wedge I was responsible for all Marketing and Communication activities and managed significant rebranding and public relations efforts. Prior to joining Wedge Partners, I spent nearly 15 years developing, designing, selling and marketing computer software. Most recently I served as Vice President of Marketing and Product Management for Newmerix, an enterprise software startup backed by Mobius Ventures, IDG Ventures and Siemens Ventures. Prior to Newmerix, I spent several years in Product Marketing and Product Management roles at large software vendors such as Adobe and Commerce One as well as start-ups such as Ping Identity and Simplexis.com. Additionally, I was a founder at Digitella Technologies, a start-up software company that provided Web-based digital asset management software. I started my career with Accenture where I spent four years leading software development teams for Fortune 500 companies as a Senior Consultant and systems architect.
I earned my BA in Psychology from Westminster College in 1995. While at Westminster I was President of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, Vice President of the Student Government Association, and a member of the Skulls of Seven honor society.
